Poolia’s digital customer interaction needed to be improved. Speed and simplicity were considered key factors to acquiring potential candidates, especially considering that the low conversion rate was mostly due to long application processes. Poolia´s vision was to allow job seekers to find interesting jobs with just one click, something that would mean a significant increase in conversion rates.
While improving Poolia’s website, we also developed new graphic guidelines and tonalities adapted for digital media. That meant new imagery, an updated graphic profile and guidelines for their communication through digital channels.
Through integration with the professional LinkedIn network, it is now possible for candidates to register their profile with just one click. They can search for relevant jobs instantly, and with just one keystroke filter vacancies in desired sectors, positions, companies or regions. Logged in candidates can submit a job application by just clicking on the application button located next to each available job. The site was also made responsive to match high demands for accessibility.
Only a few weeks after the launch of Poolia´s new websites in Sweden, Finland and Germany, the number of visits and job applications via mobile phones has increased significantly. The integration of the website with LinkedIn has worked beyond expectations, with over 3000 candidates chosing to import their LinkedIn profile to Poolia.se during the first year after the launch. Traffic and conversions from mobile has tripled since the launch in autumn 2014.
